Short Sunderland
Short S.25 Sunderland byl britský hlídkový a protiponorkový hydroplán užívaný v druhé světové válce.
V roce 1934 vznikla ve Velké Británii soutěž na zakázku dálkových poštovních létajících člunů. Jedním z potenciálních výrobců se stala firma Short Bros. Ltd. sídlící v Rochesteru, která měla v tomto oboru již zkušenosti.
The Short S.25 Sunderland was a British flying boat patrol bomber, developed and constructed by Short Brothers for the Royal Air Force (RAF). The aircraft took its service name from the town (latterly, city) and port of Sunderland in North East England.
