Junkers Ju 88 byl německý dvoumotorový víceúčelový bojový letoun. Firma Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke(JFM) letoun navrhla v polovině třicátých let jako tzv. Schnellbomber (rychlý bombardér), který by byl příliš rychlý pro stíhačky tehdejší doby, které ho měly zachytit. Během vývoje a raných provozních období trpěl řadou technických problémů, ale stal se jedním z nejuniverzálnějších bojových letadel války.

The Junkers Ju 88 was a German World War II Luftwaffe twin-engined multirole combat aircraft. Junkers Flugzeug- und Motorenwerke (JFM) designed the plane in the mid-1930s as a so-called Schnellbomber (fast bomber) that would be too fast for fighters of its era to intercept.

This version actually predates the A-4. Earlier models of Ju 88 upgraded with longer wings and other equipment. Jumo 211B-1, G-1 or H-1 engines all rated at 1,200 hp for take-off.
