Lockheed S-3 Viking
Lockheed S-3 Viking je čtyřmístné proudové letadlo, které bylo používáno námořnictvem USA (United States Navydále jen US Navy) k identifikování, sledování a ničení nepřátelských ponorek. Od konce 90. let 20. století byly úkoly letounu S-3B zaměřeny na boj s povrchovými cíli a tankování ve vzduchu. Letouny Viking byly rovněž používány pro elektronický boj a jako hlídková letadla v rámci bojové skupiny letadlové lodi.
The Lockheed S-3 Viking is a four-seat, twin-engine turbofan-powered jet aircraft that was used by the U.S. Navy primarily for anti-submarine warfare. In the late 1990s, the S-3B’s mission focus shifted to surface warfare and aerial refueling.
